Dynamic Hobbies MAJOR Announcement

Dynamic Hobbies will be under new management as of February 26, 2010.

The new owners are Gordie and Mihai,

Gordie, who you all know as our inventory receiver and you probably got a call from him when your parts came in. he also knows his way around RC as he worked at Dynamic for over 10 years

Mihai has also been around RC for many years, mostly on the racing side. He is the current race director of the On Road Racing Series at Lakeside Gardens.

I would like to announce a new partnership with Dave Rees and Tom Hastie. They have agreed to represent Dynamic Hobbies this Summer as the Dynamic Hobbies Aerobatic Team. They have an extensive tour planned for this summer

My Friend Mihai has moved from FAST R/C car racing to FAST Motor Cycle racing. It is his first year and he is finding it tough to compete with the BIG teams and also the physical demands.

He did a good showing qualifying 24 out of 34 and moving up to 19th before retiring due to exhaustion.

Weather was great, Field was in perfect shape, BBQ PLUS was looked after with care. The Dunrobin Picnic came off with out a hitch..

Last year the weather gods delayed this event 2 times but this year the first date was the best.

I had 4 good flights with my Hawk Heli and 4 with my Twin Star. I ate more food then I should have and they were trying to give away more at the end. So I'm sure everybody had their fill.

Saturday August 30
The Dunrobin Flyers are having their annual picnic. Open to Club members and guests. The show starts about 10am and finishes about 4pm. I'm sure you could watch but it is a club deal.

Other than that enjoy the long weekend.

I would hope to get out on the Monday for some unexpected flying on my holiday day off. I also go out on Tuesday which is my usual day off. COUNT EM 4 DAYS OFF WOOOO HOOOO !

Have Great Labour Day weekend

Weather was very good Hottest we have had all summer. Low wind and LOTS of Scale War Birds.

I arrived about 9am and registered as 8 out of my guess of 25 or so pilots. The grass was covered by all types of planes from my Endercker very stand off scale to many super scale planes with details you would never think of.
