I want to take this opportunity to tell you about one of the services that has made Dynamic Hobbies famous in the Ottawa R/C community. Special Orders! We at Dynamic know how important getting the right part is, at the right price, and right away. But with millions of parts available for thousands of models it is impossible to stock everything and know the right part number all the time.

It is important that you provide us with the correct manufacturers part number for any item you wish to special order. We place our orders on Thursday night, so the cutoff is obviously close of business on Thursday. (6:00 PM) On orders over $50 we require a 50% deposit before we will make the order with our suppliers.

The orders we place with our distributors are usually shipped out on Friday and will arrive in our store the following Thursday, barring any holiday or customs/shipping issues. We have been doing custom orders this way for 15 years and it has almost always worked to this 1 week turn-around schedule. We can tell you on Friday after the Thursday night order if the part was shipped by our supplier and if not, how long it will likely be on back-order. (Subject to availability of the information from our supplier)

In certain cases items may be discontinued, or back-ordered by our suppliers for a long time. Due to the nature of these types of prolonged back orders we respectfully request that if it is not shippable within 1 month of the original order date that you re-order it with us or assume that a supply chain or manufacturers issue has made the part un-obtainable. We will drop the back order after 1 month and will only re-order on your approval.
